This is a workout that is tough and strong. Julianne’s spirit is so much fun and helps you get through the workout. She actually makes you feel like you are dancing on stage!
I loved that there was a warmup and a cool down as well as a dance lesson section that broke down the basic steps slowly.
I can’t wait to do it again!
Dancing with the Stars Dance Off the Pounds featuring Dmitry, Lacey and Kym and no partner needed! This is a cardio based dance workout. C-A-R-D-I-O! If you want to do a dance based cardio workout, I would highly recommend this DVD.
A negative could be that it is a one hour workout without any ab isolation, although your core with definitely get an overall workout. After I finished the DVD, I did my own ab work. There is a cool down section as well.
A positive feature that is pretty cool is the ability to customize your workout. If you want to work on your Swing, Jive or Quickstep, you can, over and over again. You can also do a music-only option without instruction so that after you learn the steps, you can dance. This is a very unique feature. How many times have you done a DVD over and over again and know exactly what the instructor is going to say next, when they will breath and wipe the bead of sweat off their face?
As the summary suggests, it is based on signature moves of the Jive, Swing and Quickstep. You will learn basic moves and after about fifteen minutes, the instructor will change. It will progressively get more difficult and add on more choreography.
I can’t wait to do this video again but I have about three more to try! I will post up my reviews as I try them. Click on the link to look at some Amazon Pricing. ![]()

Yesterday we went to my dad’s for some delicious Filet Mignon. When we went into the fridge to get the Pimento, this is what we found. My dad does not mess around when he buys Pimento. My dad rules.
I put up some Simply Smart Milk for scale reasons—Serrrrious Portuguese Pimento right there. Sometimes life calls for it. Get some. You’ll love it.
Have a great Sunday,

I am lucky to always have had a lot of friends and I’ve always been lucky to have so many different kinds of friends. I never limited friends to a clique, interests, appearance because I am such a believer in the soul.
I have had friends that are so opposite of what I am but I’ve learned so much from them.
So I was thinking about the Show ‘Friends’ and it sort of mirrors how I feel about finding friends. Each of the ‘Friends’ had different interests but they all were there for each other. Chime in the ‘I’ll be There for You Song’
.
At the same time, I try not to judge people (but I do) who hang out in a ‘clique’ and they’re all birds of a feather. Maybe being in this type of friend group gives them some sort of security? I believe though that if you have a friendship based off insecurity, how can you have a strong foundation?
I really don’t know what it’s like to be in a clique because I was never part of one; it’s like I can’t, I’m not wired that way.
